Hello and Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
I’m Jackie, a doctor, psychotherapist, and trainer- but more importantly, I’m neurodivergent myself. This space was born out of both personal experience and professional insight. It’s a place where neurodivergence isn’t treated as a problem to fix- but a difference to understand, respect, and support.
Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself, supporting someone who is, or working to make your workplace more inclusive, you’re in the right place.
Why This Work Matters
Too often, conversations about neurodiversity in therapy and corporate spaces are clinical, surface-level, or driven by people without lived experience. I founded Doctor Divergent because I wanted something more human- and more honest.
Here, I combine evidence-based therapeutic practices with firsthand insight into the lived realities of neurodivergence: sensory overwhelm, executive dysfunction, masking, burnout, and everything in between. I’ve been there. I work with clients and teams every day who are still there.
You don’t need to fit in- you need to be understood.
What You’ll Find Here
This website is home to two core offerings:
Individualised Therapeutic Support for Neurodivergent Adults
I provide individual therapy that centres your neurotype, your goals, and your lived experience. No pathologising or trying to make you ‘more normal’. Just support that actually fits.
Corporate Training and Consulting
I work with organisations ready to go beyond tickbox diversity. My workshops and trainings bring lived expertise and practical tools to help you create truly neuroinclusive workplaces- for recruitment, retention, team communication, and more.
You’ll also find a blog, where I share insights, reflections, and resources on neurodivergence, accessibility, workplace culture, mental health, and more.
A Space for Real Conversations
Being neurodivergent in a world designed for neurotypicals can be exhausting. This site is a place to breathe. To feel seen. To learn without judgement. To imagine new ways of working, relating, and healing.
If you’re a neurodivergent person looking for support, a company ready to do better, or just someone curious to learn- you’re welcome here.
Let’s build something better- together.
Warmly,
Jackie
